Thank you for your patience while we retrieve your images.
The pre-pandemic world now seems like a far-off country, forever out of reach and a fading memory in the New World in which we now live.

This series, From Afar, aims to echo the feeling of yearning we now feel for the world left behind, through images which offer a tantalizing glimpse of modern civilization from a bucolic vantage points which feel isolated and estranged from that far off world.

These images were shot around the Bay Area in preparation for a BAPC group exhibition on the theme "The New World" curated by Sandra Phillips, Curator Emerita of Photography, SFMOMA. Selected work was included in the exhibition at the Minnesota Street Project Galleries, October to November 2022.

This series is still a work in progress.
