ARTIST STATEMENT

Look up.

Right now, far above your head, thousands of people are traveling across the sky. Few have any idea that their passage is leaving its transient mark on the landscape for those of us below.

These ephemeral ribbons of vapor interact with our view of the world on many levels: Perhaps they echo the geometry of buildings and shadows, they may suggest imaginary narratives, or they might remind us of the ecological impacts of our civilization.

Sometimes all at once.
