ARTIST STATEMENT

There are some places that seem to be ...well, somewhere else. They don’t seem to sit quite right in the world.

They have an indefinable quality that makes them feel just a little disconnected, awkward and out of place. Is it the light? Some incongruous object? Something you didn’t consciously notice?

Wait. Did something just move? Back in that dark corner over there...? Hmm. Must have been nothing.

Nothing from here, anyway.
